1975 Automatic trans kickdown...? 444-544

There's a B20 and automatic transmission from a 1975 Volvo in my PV544. Looking at the engine the other day, I realized that there is no transmission kickdown linkage or cable that I can see.

The engine was originally fuel injected, but it now has Carter H6SU's on it.

Does anyone know how the kickdown should be connected to the carb linkage? I'm getting tired of manually downshifting on hills...
