Another chance to buy 200

Well I just looked at a 1992 240 Automatic.

plus:

Engine sounds good.
No major accident history
body is generally in good shape(no major dents, but every panel has been keyed)
Interior is fine...tan, but fine.
Cheap
AC works (I think...it's 50 outside today)
New Tires

Minus:
Suspension is shot...pass side of it.
Automatic...accelerates like a brick in sand.
Every panel has been keyed...trunk lid very bad.
Needs new windshield
Mileage issues...VIN report is on the way, but the odometer is not working. Shows only 104302, last years(3/04) inspection sticker shows 102105. Though this is not a daily driver and never leaves the city limits (handicaped driver)

He was asking 2000 for it, but about half way through the testdrive he said he would take 1500 for it.

To make it worth anything it would need new suspension and probably to have my old manual trans swaped in.

Assuming I can hand him 1250 for it...would it be worth it?
