grrrrr, ipd magnetic oil drain plug 200

just finished placing an order with ipd. one of the items ordered was the ipd magnetic oil drain plug w/ seal. and anyway, I decided to do some research on oil change and oil type, etc. on the 700/900 faq, and I came across this:

Caution. [Dick Riess] The IPD magnetic drain plug has very few threads compared to the OEM plug and consequently the torque is on only about three rounds of threads. Hence, it is easier to strip the pan threads when replacing it. Be careful!

guess I won't be using it unless any of you brick nuts use one and would give the go ahead.
