Alternator, Park Brake and BRAKE lights stay on (short time) 200 1989

I've tried to fix this, checked connections, etc. On cold start ONLY, my 1989 240GL (125K miles on original B230F engine) has dashboard lights remaining alight. If this is an indication of a bigger problem I'd want to know now, of course.

SYMPTOM: On cold start, engine fires then the Alternator, Park Brake and Brake Fail lights stay lit. If I rev the engine for about 3 seconds they all go out. If I put the selector into "Drive" and move off, they all go out. But if I let the engine continue to idle, they stay lit until moving or revving, as mentioned.

Does anyone have an idea about what to check next? It's been serviced regularly, and had a last service at 120K miles.
