760 Turbo Idles too fast 700

'Just cleaned the throttle body and IAC motor in my '84 760 Turbo.I used a new gasket on the TB. Now it idles at 1500 rpm and won't come down from that. I turned the plastic screw on the bottom of the TB all the way in. All vacuum hoses are connected. I cleaned the idle motor with spray carb cleaner. When I shook it back and forth, I could hear a clicking ( just like how it should). The arrow on the motor is pointing towards to hose that goes up towards the intake ( as it was before I cleaned it). Would the throttle positioning switch cause this high idle if it were bad?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Dave
