The CR-814 (?) cassette receiver in my 93 945T sometimes does not work and sometimes has a lot of static noise when I change the volume. Is this the sign of a failing radio or a failing amplifier? I have a spare amplifier that I could try, but if it is the radio, I'll just order a $130 Sony CD receiver from Crutchfield with the amplifier bypass wiring and mounting kit.
