Water cleaning to remove carbon? Done it?

Klaus
I'heard and done water cleaning on older carburated vehicles. This was accomplished by bringing the motor up to approx. 3000 rpm and using a spray bottle of water to put a fine mist directly into the carb.Is this the same procedure you are replying to? How can this be accomplished with a injected engine?
Poorgie
