Lions and Tigers and Severed Taillight Wires, Oh My 120-130 1966

Examing my 122's taillights closely the other day in preparation for putting them back together, I realized that in my right taillight, the green and white (top and bottom) wires are severed directly beneath the tiny, splayed metal piece that holds the copper ends of the wires (and which seems to serve as a contact point with the base of the lightbulb). Not knowing much about electrical wiring, or if these tiny metal contact or end pieces are hard to find, how do I easily go about restoring these wires? I would imagine I need some sort of wire stripper, and then could I find something similar to these tiny metal ends at my local electrical supply place? And then how do I attach the pieces to the end of the wires?

If anyone had some advice here it would be appreciated. At least this job seems fairly straightforward and accessible, unlike another job requiring pop rivet guns, window channels, and the dismantling of doors--which will remain nameless.
