Water cleaning to remove carbon? Done it?

Actually, limp home creates a slightly rich mixture at idle. It doesn't run well at higher RPMs though, so there may be other issues I'm not aware of when trying to run this way. RLC's suggestion is probably a better approach.

I still question though whether an occasional stumble at highway speeds would be due to carbon buildup.
