Aftermarket oil cooler 700 1990

Being in need of a replacement oil cooler, i purchased one online (site says Nissens, but the label on the cooler is Setrab). The cooler does not have the female fittings for the oil lines, just a welded nut. After searching several automotive and hardware stores, I found fittings with the correct threads, but too deep to seal seat the line's ball fitting. The guy at the volve dealer parts counter said he couldn't help me, so I was hoping someone out here in the Forums could.

I have already spoken to the parts house i bought the cooler from and they are gonna let me send it back (supposedly even though i tried to install), but in case they tell me to get lost, does anyone know where I can obtain the correct fittings? The fittings on the original are welded and therefor can't be re-used.

Thanks much for any help!
