That is right. The hookup is easy and they work great.
You probably need to replace your distributor anyway because of wear on the
point cam, shaft bushings and advance mechanism, so the 1975 distributor and
ignition module is a great deal. If you go to Pertronix or Allison, you still
have to have a distributor that is in reasonably good shape.
The one drawback is that there are not too many 75 distributors out there.
They do show up from time to time on ebay and you may find one in a salvage
somewhere. I've got one in my 66 122 wagon and it's great.
