Heater control valve adjustment - Is this the right screw? 200

Hi, all

I posted a message yesterday having to do with my A/C not getting very cool when the temperature adjustment lever is all the way to "cool" and the heat getting extremely hot when the lever is only slightly moved towards a warmer setting.

A couple of people suggested that I attempt to adjust the heater control valve by adjusting a screw. I removed the driver side kick panel to gain access to the heater control valve and I have located a screw on the heater control valve's side that has a star shaped hole instead of a flat-head or phillips-head hole. It looks to be coated in some kind of brown glue to keep it from moving. Is this the adjustment screw?

Thanks again! The Brickboard is a life saver!
