squeaking noise-1984 245 w/m46 200 1984

Anytime I don't have the clutch pushed in, I hear a squeaking noise, it seems proportional to engine speed. The weird thing is that when the car is making the noise and I am moving in gear, I can stop it by either pushing down slightly on the clutch pedal, or putting my foot underneath the pedal and pulling it up. When I am idling the noise can be heard as well, and without putting the car in gear I can push on the clutch just a little and it will go away. Is there some kind of loaded return spring that I should look at? Is there some kind of cheap part like that that could possibly need replacing? I had a new clutch put in the car over the summer, and I don't think it made the noise before, although I hadn't had the car that long so I'm not positive. Could my trans be out of alignment? Thanks in advance for any help.
