Source of timing advance 700 1987

On the 740 LH2.4 system rotating the distributor does not affect the ignition timing. The spark from the coil will jump thru the dist no matter where you rotate it. The timing of the ignition pulses originate from the flywheel sensor not from a sensor in the distributor as on the older LH2.4.
