Door Lock Removal-if I don't ask I'll break it 900

I'm taking the line "if I don't ask, I'll break it" from someone else's posting a few months back. I like the sound of it because it seems to hold true for me too.

I was sideswiped on the driver's side about three weeks ago, and I finally found a good deal on doors that match my car perfectly (the match is, as they say, seamless.) The only problem now is that my key doesn't operate the new door lock for obvious reasons. I need to switch out the locks, but in trying to remove the old one from my bashed-in door last night, I decided that I should ask someone who has experience in doing the same. Does the lock unscrew, is it held in with clips, should it be pryed out from the exterior?

I didn't want to take the chance of ruining what looks like a brand new door...
