poor acceleration/won't kick into turbo

The other day on our '95 945T, I heard a whooshing sound and the car immediately starting acting like you describe, with RPMs limiting at about 2500-2700. On checking the intercooler hoses on advice from Brickboard I found a hole that I could stick my finger through on the bottom side of the intercooler hose leaving the intercooler. Problem corrected after I replaced the hose. I went ahead and replaced the one on the other side and the one connecting to the throttle body.
