gearboxes and gadgets and funny noises! 700

My fathers 1989 740GL is makin' one helluva noise on idle, dad told me its
the engine and gearbox mounts and after close inspection this was the case
I ordered some new engine mounts and went to fit them to the car and found
out that the ones I got were not the right ones, I've looked at other 740's
and the engine mounts are completely different to the ones on dads car
but are of the same type as the ones that I ordered, the car was made in
Belgium and I was wondering if this was only fitted to cars from Belgium

And if I do get the right ones are they easy to fit?
weeks later the gearbox mounts have gave way and I've
since ordered a gearbox mount and want to if this is easy to fit as well

The stereo in the car is playing up and I want to replace it with a CD player
Does anyone know if Volvo produced a CD player for this model as it has to
fit in the same place of the CR-4221 and Ive been told "Its a volvo one or its
nothin'" by my father,
If there isn't one produced for this model, is it possible to retrofit
one from an 850, 940,960,Etc and has anyone retrofitted one before
If so, could you tell me how you went about it and how good was the out come?

Cheers in advance
