Intermittent No Start and Stall Under Load 700 1988

Hey Everyone, I've got a problem that I'm hoping you folks can help me with. I've read over the FAQ section and I thought I had it licked, but I don't and am now a little confused.

I've got an 88 745t. She never gave me any sign of trouble all winter. On the coldest days would fire right up on the first crank. Then completely out of nowhere as I was pulling into a parking lot she just died as if someone grabbed the keys out of the ignition.

It eventually started up again, would idle perfectly, then inexplicably die. No sputtering - just off. Cranks fine, all electricals work. Here's what I know and what I did so far:

It is getting fuel. But I found that when it does not start, it is b/c it is not getting a spark and no power from the coil. I had an extra coil that I know is fine and same deal, so it is not the coil. I then thought it could be the Ignition Control Module, put in a new one. Fired up right away and I thought my problem was solved. But as soon as I put her in gear and gave her some gas - immediately dead. Started her up, let her get good and warm but when I gave any gas the engine would just quit. Checked the coil, no spark.

Sooooo, could it still be the Ignition Control Module? I'm thinking I will clean off the contacts as best I can and see. But what else could it be? Would a bad fuel injection/fuel pump relay cause no power to the coil? Any other relay that I should be thinking about? Thanks in advance.
-Dave
