Hi List.

1988 740 GLE TURBO Wagon

Hubby's brick has both doa fuel pumps. Checked Relay and fuses 1 &11 per fuel pump tips section.

Main pump fittings looked to be very corroded and being a chicken I soaked them and had the brick towed to the mechanic. I am trying to find all of the necessary parts for mechanic. Normally, he doesn't take customer parts but he always asks me to find them for my cars and for others. I love a challenge!!!

He wants another sending unit to go with the fuel pumps, filter, strainer. Junkyard has one since I can't afford a new one for this baby. This baby is a beater!

CAN'T YOU REMOVE THE INTERIOR FLOOR PANELS BETWEEN THE 2ND/3RD SEAT TO ACCESS THE TOP OF THE TANK?

Please advise, as I need to go to the yard and pull parts. They actually have a wagon and I am drooling over spending the whole day there!
