Intermittent No Start and Stall Under Load 700 1988

Right now I am going through my 88 760 to finally resolve the intermittent issues that I have had to date, i.e. cold weather starting, start stall, etc. After listening to all of the guff about radio suppression relays and fuel systems with no resulting cure, I had a suspicion that the wiring harness was the culprit. Then I found this thread: http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=918118. I would suggest that you read this.

I have found so many places in the harness that are really examples of poor electrical practices that I am rewiring the engine bay myself. Check all of the ground points including those in the connectors and buried in the wiring harness.

Regards,
