oil squirters...i see mention of these below...what are they?... 700 1990

To add to Bryan they came in the 94 and 95 230FT's
The oil squirters spray oil on to the underside of the piston thus oil cooling it. It helps by keeping piston cooler thus less chance of detonation.
Also you can dump a lot more boost into the engine with less chance of heat from the pistons inducing detonation.
