1992 245 (check engine light) (error code 212) new oxygen sensor 4k miles ago 200 1992

Hi,
My 92 245 engine check light came on after warm up. I checked the code which was 212 (faulty O2 sensor signal). The O2 sensor was replaced with a OE part only 4k miles ago. I've checked the connector, checked for dirt build up, etc. everything looks good. I thought maybe there was a glitch so I reset everything, started the car, no check engine, after warm up, the light came on again and the same code. The car runs fine though, no problems, same gas mileage. Any ideas? Thanks
