1990-240 temp guage problem.

If you have the board in there still, it could well be the issue. I thought at first you were witnessing what one sees when the board is removed - presumably the point of the board being there in the first place, to hide minor fluctuations.

I'd do the bypass mod; it really doesn't fluctutate that much. Amazing the ends Volvo went to, to hide minor fluctuations, and undoubtedly induced more fluctuations than ever would have occurred without the board!
