On the Road Again! 200 1981

Man I love these cars :-)

I haven't been able to drive the 242t for about 6 weeks because a)it has a cracked intake manifold gasket and b)I have a broken right leg. Last night coming home from the Jimmy Cliff show here in town I had a flat on the 740ti and, as the new tires and wheels won't be here for another week or so, I had to fix the 242. Fourty five minutes start to finish, including the long phone call from a parental unit, and the little monster runs like a champ! The gasket must have cracked some time ago as I've been having idling issues for a while. Now she idles smooth as a baby's behind and runs like a scalded cat.

BTW...Optima batteries rule. She sat for 6 weeks and it only took a touch of the key to start her up.
