Replace seats in an 88 with seats from a 77? 200

Don't know about 77 seats??

I'd try and get a good one from a boneyard, even if you have to drive awhile to get there.

Here is another option for you. Someone recently posted this site, it might be helpful -
http://car-part.com/index.htm

It is difficult to find a good driver's seat. You might end up only finding a good passenger seat as I did, but it was only $25! Got lucky!! My seat is blue cloth and the pass. seat was tan vinyl. Stripped off vinyl and used the foam. Labor intensive, but it wasn't rocket science to do. You can also repair your lumbar with the parts from the junker and wash the cloth covers in your washer (if cloth seats). Do the aforementioned carefully!!

If interested, check Erling's 240 page for a link to Tony Hoffman's seat rebuilding page for more info....
