The ones that I've seen have been U-shaped (the bottom of the U flattened an usually longer than the legs) brackets, with holes in both legs; one to mount the light and the other to attach the bracket to the bumper. They were custom made of 1/4 x 1 1/4" mild steel bar stock. It is possible, however, that the folks that sell the lights also sell pre-fab mounting brackets.
