Finally - got the 544 back together. 444-544

Good to hear!

Is the head gasket all copper or a copper-composite? The all-copper units are less "daily driver" friendly as they don't like to be heat-cycled as often as the composite units. OTOH I use copper-steel composite on my MGB and they are swell ;)

Only a few more things to tinker with and I'll be able to start the 122s after, well since I got it dis-assembled, who know since when?
