advice sought: aftermarket roof racks?

I say the contractor rack would be a better choice for you. Function over form.

From last fall, on top of my homemade roof rack which consists of 2x4's and brackets from an Ikea gutter clamped roof rack.



On top to the left was two 8-ft long folding tables. On the right was 15 chairs. And of course, the gas grill on a cargo tray, mounted to the trailer hitch receiver.
