a short blast of starting fluid spray into each spark plug hole and reinstall plugs and wires to correct firing order sequence then try to start. If it starts and shuts down then you have a fuel delivery situation.If it does not start at all then a good chance you have no juice to the spark plugs and you got to look at electrical issues. Also hook up a timing light and see if you are sparking all the time and just for fun look at were your firing at on number 1 cylinder by observing the timing mark on the crank pulley. Another possibility would be that the distributor cap is shot and shorting out. My humble driveway expierence
