what to do? 200 1982

you may or may not have read my recent post about somebody plowing into my car (when I was in a parking lot, stopped). anyway, I got an estimate for repairs today and it was about $1800. what should I do? I like my car, but if the guy pays 100%, my car is totaled. if he doesn't pay everything, my car is not totaled and I want to fix my car because I have some strange obsession for volvos, but I don't know if it is worth it. I got my car for 200 bucks. I have put about 3000 dollars in it and was planning to put a nice 350 in it this summer. If it is totaled, does anyone want parts? cross your fingers because I like this car.

Joe
