=D who knows?! 140-160

the needles in your HIF6 carbies, are they BBB's? I like the HIF's, they flow more air than the older HS style & corner better too.

Agreed! I dunno about the needles... Ask Rhys, he put them in there. What are they Rhys?

The engine is currently just a stock b20b and then has a full mandrel bent straight through 2" exhaust on it, a custom cold air intake, then some magnecore wires, the b18 alloy intake manifold, an FI exhaust manifold, and a bosch blue coil, nothing too special, so it's basically a stock b20b. So they're probably whatever the b20b originally came with. Before the cold air intake and before really tuning the carbs much, and before cleaning some gunk outta the cylinders I dynoed it with retarded timing and got 84hp at the wheels. It feels more like 100 hp at the wheels now though with the CAI and the ADVANCED timing that I can run now after cleaning the combustion chambers up with a water treatment and some Seafoam. It's never been better, except the smoking...

It runs great, can pull from 1500rpms on up(to around 5.5k, i rev to 6 though in first and second) if you ease into the throttle. I wish it had more top end though. That'll come in time(when this engine dies completely, it has some blow-by now... a lil smoke on startup as well sometimes) in the version of my old 74 engine getting the bottom end done up nicely and then topped with a freshened F head with the larger intake valves that come along with it and probably just a D cam, but the combination of larger intake valves and hotter cam sound very enticing anyway. Then comes the day when I'm rich and get something custom done up from John along with a hotter cam than his street performance cam to bring me the title of the highest powered SU b20 in the States... :-P We'll see, I hear Shayne is doing something kinda along those lines too...

Not that you asked... =D Peace man!
