High Idle after driving for extended periods, other times idle seems fine? 200

I have a 90 240 wagon with 195000, LH2.4

I have an intermittent high idle problem.
The idle is fine much of the time, but after a trip home from work or to (about 55 miles)
when I shift into park the idle seems to get stuck or won't idle down like it used to.
I recently cleaned the throttle body which seemed to fix a previous problem, low idle/ poor starting

I've checked the 700/900 FAQS and the only thing I could come up with is a dirty idle air control valve.
Not quite sure what it looks like or how to clean.
Any tips out there or similiar situations?

Thanks
