What to save off of a beater that going to the dump 120-130

I presume since you got it for the grills that you have a 64 or earlier as well. So then these are the parts I would pull if I had a 64: steering gear, front discs and calips, fuel pump, rad, rear drums and slaves, the whole rear end and tranny if you are feelin ambitious basically all the normal wear parts. When doing maintenance it helps to have a rebuilt spare as opposed to pulling a part, rebuilding it (down time) and re installing. just use a grinder (or oxy cutter) to cut out the parts you need, this will make it easier and much faster, that's how the scrap yards do it. All the mechanicals that will wear out and you may need at some point if you plan on keeping the car.
