Wobble in steering, front left rim over 100 degrees celcius. 960 900

960 -96

As I posted in a earlier post it felt like I had a unbalance in the front tires.

Today, on my way home from work it started to wobble again.. first very gently then slowly getting so bad that I had to switch on the warning lights and limp home in slow speed.

I thought I had misfire in some cylinders, until...
I got out the rim smelt like a forest fire and I tried some water on it and the water evaporated almost instantly.

What has happened? I left my car over at a local shop to check it out in the morning.. is it usual for these cars to have warping front brakes?

How to fix? Why did it happened? Could it have been because of worn pads?

Thanks,
Esa
