Broke my trip meter reset button - Is there a fix? 200 1988

Did one of those stupid things recently.
Thinking that just maybe I could straighten out the uneven numbers
on the trip meter, I pulled on the reset button only to have the plastic end snap off. Now I cannot reset the trip meter. Is this repairable/replaceable or am I forever relegated to subtrating beginning mileage from ending mileage at the end of the day.
