700/780 Turn Signal Mystery

Time Again to Stump The Brickheads:

The turn signals blink faster (4X) turing left than turning right.

Removing the bulbs, wigling the wire harness; and playing with the sockets has no effect.

Seems like a wiring short somewhere; OR are there some other mystery options inside the turn switch housing?

Don't have a wiring schematic; but assume the blinker relay is upstram of the switch; and would have no impact?

This is a 1991; so assume this is not the famous bio-degradable wiring harness problem.

Hint: this car was hit in the front; and I have checked and re-soldered/heat shrink wrapped the wiring turn signal wiring.

Thanks!
