Intermittent starting problems 200 1986

I have a problem with my brick. Every once in a while it decides that it is not going to start. It is usually when in the isle of a very busy gas station. Typically does happen after the car has been running and is shut off. Usaully if I leave the car for a few minutes it will start. On the odd occasion is can be longer but eventually it does start. I am worried that one of these times it is not going to fire up.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should look for.
