Issues with driver's door...242 DL...Repair or replace? Broken weld 200 1984

The weld at the back end of the door, at the base of the window, is breaking on my driver's side door. My first thought was to get it re-welded, but how do I get the allignment right? As of now, it rattles around when I am driving and lets a ton of air and noise in. So here are my options...
1. Fix it, but it's a pretty lame door anyway and never really fit right, or
2. Use the skin from current door, put it on original door ( superficially messed up from accident, but with a perfect frame) or
3. Find a new door and hinges...Anyone have a 242 driver's door in Western Washington they are willing to part with for cheap? (Maybe free?) So, any advice would be appreciated. And if I could re-skin the original door, how do I go about that? Thanks everyone!
