Prep for long commute 700

get an extra:
water pump
starter
distributor
alternator
fuel pumps&relay
AMM

and throw em in the trunk
keep a can of starting fluid as a quick check for no fuel situations.

the beauty of getting this stuff BEFORE you have a problem...you can get it all at the junkyard for about $150, and test all the parts in advance. If you have good roadside coverage, you can leave it all in a box at home. It may be cheapest to go to Pick n pull and buy a 'complete engine', then bring back the core if you have no interest in an extra block.

Wonder how I acumulate way too much crap in my life?
at least breakdowns don't usualy set me back for too long.
