A few months back someone mentioned changing the cotter pin on wastegate as they tend to corrode.

I gave mine a wiggle today and it just broke off--no surprise from the rust--but it's worth changing during next oil change.

I don't think the linkage would actually fall off since it's well rusted, but from my understanding of the effects, it's hardly worthwhile to chance.
