Read the section on general OBD notes in the FAQs--this describes the location and method of accessing your OBD. Your car has OBD I, which does not use a computer connector as do the OBD II cars. So, you have to insert a little pin into the diagnostic unit and count the flashes of the LCD to figure out the codes. It tells you how to do that here:
