SU performance tuning... 1800

Yeah, the flex a lite fan that I was referring to was one of the direct bolt on versions, not an electric one. I'm toying with going with a bolt on one vs going electric.

And regarding changing one thing at a time, yeah... I don't know if I have enough time or money to do one thing at a time, in which case, I'd do almost everything first(the air horns and the spacers) and then just play with the timing and the mixture adjustment when I'm on the dyno. Also, another thing that is going to be a pain, is keeping the car's temperature stable... In the three runs I did last time, I gained almost 4hp and 4lb-ft just from the car cooling down during the high rpm spinning... That's going to play around with my results a bit probably... :-\ The reason for my retarded timing was the carbon in the engine that I have since built up, so when the engine would get towards the higher operating ranges, it would start to ping. I knew the car would get hot while idling on the dyno, so i didn't take the chance. Next time I go to the dyno I'll be sticking in some octane booster so I won't have to worry about that at all, even if my motor wouldn't be doing it(pinging).
