Transmission to Radiator Cooler Lines 200 1987

Anyone out there had experience with changing the lines (both of them) between the tranny and the radiator?? I'm assuming they are steel. Both of mine are leaking badly near the oil pan. Do you know of a good source for replacement lines?? Could the lines be home made from steel or copper tubing?? Thanks in advance for your help.
