Got a fantastic deal on E-codes.... now a few questions. 200 1990

Hello all!

It's been a while since I've posted, but I haven't rested from my Volvo endeavors. I've recently scored a set of genuine LHD Volvo e-codes on Ebay from a gentleman in the UK, practically brand-new, the whole assemblies, for the princely sum of $380 to my door.

I have a few questions relating to their installation. I've scoured the archives with no success, so pardon me if these questions have come up before. They are as follows:

1. On the H4/9003 bulb, which terminal is High, Low, and Ground?

2. When these lights were installed in European market cars, was there any sort of rubber boot on the end of the headlight pigtail to protect the base of the bulb and connector? If so, can someone supply either second-hand items or a part number?

3. How can I modify the wiring so when the high-beams are engaged, the low beams stay engaged simultaneously, as is the case in a true European market car?

Thanks for the insight folks,

Brian
