Sorry...not Volvo, but any ideas?

Please don't take this the wrong way.
IF! you take the time to learn the difference
between a recitfier and a diode, your world will
be a better place.
When I worked on a riverboat , the Chief Engineer
mandated that I take a college course in electrical/electronics
while I was re-located to New Orleans.
I don't know the voltage of your"skiddoo" mobile, but it's
just not that hard to learn about voltage(DC),(AC), diodes
(check valves)'commutator-effect'(always DC) and sine waves.
Besides, there's bound to be at least one cute chick in the
classroom(she might even be teaching the course).
I later became a Ship's Electrician.(USCG licensed)
