heater control valve 120-130 1968

When my tube broke off, I wasn't able to control temperature, it was full heat or nothing at all.

I screwed up when I installed the 140 style valve on on my Amazon. The metal tube came wrapped around a black rubber piece. Instead of uncoiling the metal from the rubber like I should have, I simply let the rubber piece (with metal tube coiled around it) hang off the valve. After about a year of constant vibration, the thing just snapped about an inch from where it connects to the valve. Live and learn.
