Does anyone know how to tell if an injected head is an E or an F WITHOUT taking it off the engine?

on both front and back of the center headbolt, as best I can tell.
I'm quoting previous posts. I know for sure that on one side of the
bolt is NOT rounded on the early F head. KLR142 has posted a pic of
such a head.
