Nuts! 700

Okay, Gang,

I've been trying since last Friday to get the front crossmember nuts off of my '90 745 to do an oil pump change.

I've tried everything. Gallons of PB Blaster, impact wrench, breaker bar with (no kidding) a 3' "extension". I've tried heating them with my MAPP torch. I've even tried the "candle wax" trick. All that did was result in hot wax dripping down my sleeve. I bought a nut cutter, but it won't reach where I need to get.

I'm afraid that if I continue along this path, I'll snap the studs off and be in real trouble.

I've thought of trying to "Dremel" them in half, but I'm worried about ruining the threads on the studs, and it's kinda hard to reach them.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help,

Greydog
