A few thoughts:

The ad had a "Velveeta" look to it--IE cheesy. Mispelled and SHOUTING in upper case.

I wonder why the trans is going on a car of the vintage. Knowing the Aisin Warner and their reliabilty, I'm inclined to think the rest of the car is probably suffering from lack of maintenance.

Still, if you can get it cheap enough it would be a decent wagon.
