Is this wagon woth looking into?

- I'd like to find the used wagon being sold at a reasonable price from a fair person.

Patience will yield one. Although a lot more maddening from doing a lot of calling around, I find the regular classifieds to be a better place to find one owned/maintained by good folks but non-fanatics. Of the 6 Volvo's I own/owned ...

- one bought from the Recycler ('79 245, ex-Massachusetts car; You don't drive a 19-year old car cross country without some trust, y'know.)
- one from the Orange County Trader ('91 745, ex-Missouri car; Everything maintained by the book.)
- one from craigslist.org ('90 745, California car with lots of scratches and a bashed in side; Signed checks without hesitation, though alas, the mechanic was really just ripping her off.)

All three turned out to be very good purchases from 2nd owners. The '64 was from a fellow SCVCOA member, the '74 an auction car, and the '86 ... well, like the namesake, she can be a "pain in the bucket sometimes".
